Strength: How Much Is Enough?

Most people think building strength means hours in the gym, six days a week. In reality, it takes a lot less than that.

2 to 3 sessions a week

30 to 60 minutes each

Two or three focused sessions a week is enough to make real progress for most people. If you enjoy training and want to do more, go for it. Two or three sessions will still take you a long way.

Committed doesn't mean more

Being committed to your training doesn't mean training more often. It means putting real effort into the sessions you do.

Two sessions with real effort will get you further than five where you're just going through the motions.

Remember

Two or three sessions a week, with real effort in each one, is enough for real progress.
